Frequently asked questions
Depending on your project, the work can include product strategy, user research, UX/UI design, interactive prototypes, testing and developer handover. We agree what you need at the start, whether that’s a complete design project or help with one part.
Yes. You don’t have to start again. We can redesign an existing experience, add new features or update the interface, keeping what already works for your users.
Absolutely. We can help you decide what belongs in the first version and create a prototype to test with users or show investors. You don’t need a finished brief to start a conversation.
Yes. We can work alongside your developers, discuss technical constraints early and prepare designs they can build. Handover can include organised design files, reusable components, prototypes and notes explaining how things should work.
Yes, Fortnight also offers development services. Design and development are scoped separately, so you can work with us on both or take the designs to your own team.
It depends on the scope, the complexity of the journeys and how much research or testing is needed. A new feature is a different job from a full redesign. We’ll outline the stages and timing once we understand your project.
The cost depends on what needs designing and the work involved. Share your goals, timeline and any budget you have in mind, and we can suggest a suitable scope. If needed, we can focus on the most important parts first.
A little about your business, your users and what you want to create or improve. Existing designs, research or customer feedback are useful, but not essential for an initial conversation. A few lines and a link are enough.
